The Top Venture Capital Blogs of 2011

Over the past several years I have educated myself extensively on venture capital and venture finance. 

Indeed, one only needs to look at my Google Reader. In addition to the top tech news sites (Techmeme and TechCrunch) and the top venture capital news sites (PE Hub and WSJ's Venture Capital Dispatch), I have a folder full of the top venture capitalists and super angels that I keep daily tabs on. 

People often ask me which venture capitalist blogs I follow. I now have a great resource to send them to. Larry Cheng of Volition Capital recently put together this great VC Blog Directory. It is the most comprehensive list of VC blogs that I have seen assembled.

For those interested in stats, the metric used here is average monthly unique visitors from Compete during the fourth quarter of 2010. Although Compete's metrics can be spotty at best (a subject for another post), I would say this list is directionally accurate.
